How long does it take to assess a traffic injury?
The final assessment is made once you are discharged or your after-effects have stabilised, since the full extent of the harm isn't known until then. The prior follow-up period can last from a few weeks to several months depending on severity.
What happens if my injuries lead to permanent disability?
In these cases the compensation must include loss of earnings and the losses arising from the disability. We coordinate the medical expert assessment and, if necessary, an additional claim for serious injuries.
Is there any cost for the medical expert assessment?
